El Rosario is exceptionally well located a mere six km from the centre of Marbella and a few hundred metres from the Mediterranean Sea. Primarilly a luxurious residential area that is not over crowded. There are a number of lovely beaches, plenty of amenities such as shops, banks and green open spaces in the proximity.
El Rosario however is best known for two main sporting activities, golf and tennis. There are a number of tennis clubs in the proximity but none quite as famous as El Casco Tennis Club. El Rosario is adjacent to some of the best courses on the Coast, and over 30 can be reached within 30 minutes. The area is only 45 km from the airport at Malaga.
