Puerto Banus

Puerto Banus is often referred to as the millionaire's playground of Spain. It is certainly the playground of the rich and famous in Marbella and the Costa del Sol, summed up by the name of one of the marina's largest yachts, My Toy - but Puerto Banus has something for everyone.

The harbour is genuinely beautiful and is home to some of the Mediterranean's most glamorous boats, the bars and restaurants at the water's edge offer cuisine from all around the world, and the world class shopping includes stores such as Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Versace, Hermes and Dior. There is plenty of non-designer shopping too, with Marina Banus shopping centre and El Corte Ingles, one of the largest department stores in Spain. If you fancy some nightlife, be sure to have a drink at Sinatra's, the starting point for many great nights out, or check out Pangea, a stunning (and stunningly expensive!) bar/nightclub overlooking the harbour. For foodies, there is a great choice of restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, but the most popular restaurant, Picasso, offers simple, affordable Italian food....just be prepared to queue!
