Benalmadena is one of the newer resort areas on the Costa del Sol, and can be found linking the traditional coastal resorts of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Benalmadena is only a short drive from the airport at Malaga and also features an inland area of Benalmadena Pueblo, a scenic mountain village with fabulous sea views.
The tourist area of Benalmadena Costa is best known for its great beaches, wide variety of bars and restaurants, theme park, sealife centre, good quality hotels, including the well-known Torrequebrada Hotel & Casino, and the local 18 hole golf course of Torrequebrada
