Almeria Airport
Located 10 kilometres east of the city centre, Almeria Airport is the second most important airport in the Andalucian region. Foreign tourist arrivals have grown in number allowing the airport’s service to be more developed and more efficient.
Regular national flights to Melilla, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, and Madrid are available from Almeria Airport as well as international flights to Munich, Dusseldorf, and London Gatwick.
Almeria airport has different charter companies flying in and out of it. It became one of the most important airports in the province of Andalucia because of its accessibility and amenities. It is situated at the end of the AL-12,a dual carriageway, and it has access from the 'Autovia del Mediterraneo'.
Bus services are available at the airport. There are buses scheduled to leave the airport every thirty-minutes passing through the cities of Almeria to major points in the region. Taxis are also available for about 15 Euro to the city center, 19 Euro to Aguadulce, 26 Euro to Roquetas, 23 Euro to Cabo de ata, 40 Euro to El Ejido, and 75 Euro to Mojacar.
