Torre Pacheco
The town of Torre Pacheco is positioned about 37 kilometres away from Murcia, the region's capital. San Javier and the is situated to the east, Cartagena to the south, Avileses and Valladolises to the north, and Source Poplar to the west. There are hardly any traffic accidents because the land is practically level wherein the municipality's only elevation is the hill Fat Cabezo, which is home to a number of native ecosystems of local flora and fauna.
The origin of Torre Pacheco is constituted by the manor house. Significant defensive structures in this region are the towers that serve as both defence against Berber attack and a means of communication with more distant places.
The town's climate is defined as the subtropical barren or subbaren Mediterranean. Because it is positioned near the sea, the temperature is smooth and precipitations are not that high, which is why it is considered as one of the most barren zones of the country. August is the warmest month of the year, wherein the average temperature is 28 degrees.
Torre Pacheco provides well constructed infrastructures and services which include the IFEPA trade fair and exhibition centre as well as a golf course. The area's favourable climate and scenery are the reasons why it is considered to be an ideal vacation spot for visitors who want to have a few days of relaxation in one of the rural residences of the district.
