Sucina
Sucina, which is known as Field of Murcia, is situated in the precoastal sector that descends from the mountain ranges from Altaona, Scallion and Columbares. Located about 29 kilometers away from the capital is its main body of population.
In the present century, the town's population has increased steadily. Currently, as stated in the data collected in the padronal renovation of 1996, Sucina has a total population of 1,054. The town's primary products are citruses and vegetables such as melon, artichoke, tomato, and leguminosas, and the majority of the inhabitants still engage in agriculture, mostly the dry land cultures, such as almond trees, carob trees, and olive trees.
