Necessary paperwork
To apply for a Spanish mortgage, all applicants will need to supply the following documentation:
- copy passport
- copy of credit report from Equifax or Experian
- copy of purchase contract (if possible)
Self-employed applicants will need the following:
- accountant´s reference
- latest personal self-assessment tax return in full and SA302 if available
- last 3 months´ current account statements
Employed applicants will need the following:
- latest P60
- last 3 payslips
- employer´s reference confirming role, length of service and salary
- last 3 months´ current account statements
